As part of this next evolution of the company, AVOXI is looking to expand the Solution Engineering team with the Technical Sales Engineer - EMEA & APAC position.

Who we’re looking for

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of our products and services by providing technical expertise to our clients and customers.

 
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understand their needs and requirements, and provide technical solutions to meet their needs
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers to showcase the features and benefits of our products and services
  • Prepare technical proposals and quotations, and respond to requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for quotes (RFQs)
  • Conduct technical evaluations of products and services and provide recommendations to customers
  • Develop and deliver technical training programs for customers, partners, and internal teams
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to identify new opportunities and improve product positioning
  • Provide feedback to product development teams to improve product features and functionality. Collect and document competitive intelligence to share with the Product team.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to network with potential customers and partners
  • Provide technical expertise for customer platform and infrastructure integrations with the AVOXI platform as the subject matter expert. 
  • Understand and keep up with regulatory and security compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer with a track record selling complex enterprise solutions.
  • Experience in global telephony, VoIP and or contact center solutions.
  • Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives.
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner.
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in English and preference for fluency in at least one other language spoken in the APAC region.
  • Excellent presentation and creativity skills.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel within the region and to the US as required.
